Edoseghe Osagiede, an MSc Geoscience student from UCL, has joined the Basins Research Group for a 3 month summer project supervised by Oliver Duffy, Chris Jackson and Thilo Wrona. Edoseghe's project will quantify how variations in seismic velocities and the source wavelet frequencies used in seismic data collection influence the accuracy of fault throw analyses and, subsequently, interpretations of the growth histories of seismically-imaged faults.
Tanaporn Charoenpun and Angela Darkwah will be undertaking their MSc student research projects in the Basins Research Group from June to August. Tanaporn will be working on the structural evolution of the Stord Basin, northern North Sea with Becky, Olly and Chris. Angela will be working on shelf edge clinoforms in the Dampier sub-basin with Amandine.
