Dan Collins, Howard Johnson and Marijn van Cappelle all gave talks to the Clastic Reservoir Research Team at Shell, Houston. Dan's talk was entitled: ‘The Macrotidal Miocene: Ocean modelling and insights into sedimentary facies analysis in the Mio-Pliocene, NW Borneo, South China Sea’, Howard’s talk was entitled: ‘Nature, origin and evolution of a Late Pleistocene incised valley-fill, Sunda Shelf, Southeast Asia’ and Marijn’s talk was entitled: ‘Tidal- to fluvial transitions in deltaic deposits: An outcrop analogue from the Sego Sandstone (Book Cliffs, USA) compared with the sub-surface Ile Formation (Halten Terrace, Norway)’.
